Slate Outlook
Normally on a Thursday we have a small slate but today (Wednesday) we weirdly have a small slate as well. We only have nine options but are lucky enough to have some solid pitchers who we can rely on. Three pitchers are rated 7.0 or higher with one being rated at 6.9. We seem to have a bunch of good streaming days ahead of us so feel free to go for it here because you can always make it up later if it doesn’t work out.
Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)
If this game was in Kansas City this would be one of the better streams of the year. We have Daniel Lynch who has been red hot in terms of underlying metrics. In his last three starts, he has a 23.2 K-BB%, a 3.06 SIERA, and a 14.3 SwStr%. You can’t ask for more than that. Then you take a look at his opponent the Angels who have been very bad lately with a low wRC+, high SwStr%, and a high strikeout percentage against left-handed pitchers.
Your backup here is Keegan Thompson. Thompson has shown flashes of strikeout upside and just being a decent pitcher overall. He takes on the Pirates who in the last week have been towards the bottom in wRC+, Z-Contact%, and line-drive percentage.
Deep League Streamer (Under 15% rostered)
Daniel Lynch works here but if you need a backup you can look at Zach Thompson as he takes on the Chicago Cubs. Much like the Pirates and Angels, they continue to struggle offensively and the fact that this isn’t in windy Chicago certainly helps.
Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)
The top pitcher of the day is Jon Gray. He does take on a Nationals offense that can certainly pop off but Gray has been fantastic lately. In his last four starts, he holds a 2.52 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 31% strikeout rate. I like to go with pitchers who are displaying a good skill-set and that’s Gray.
Future Picks

Friday 6/24: Luke Weaver vs DET
Saturday 6/25: Alex Faedo @ ARI and Brad Keller vs OAK
