Konnor Pilkington has pitched well in his short stint in the major leagues and he has caused people to start talking about him. In his last three starts, he holds an impressive 14.8 K-BB% and 15.3 SwStr%. That SwStr% is an elite mark. He takes on the Athletics which we all know are one of the worst offenses in the league.
Your backup option is Jordan Lyles. Lyles has been up and down and is more of a streamer in good matchups which is why we like him facing the putrid Royals. The Royals are known for being horrific offensively and they tend to perform even worse against right-handed pitchers.
