A Quick Note

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having fantastic fantasy baseball seasons! For those who read this article, I am sure you read my “What You Need To Know” articles as well. Unfortunately for the time being I will have to take a break from that article. For those who don’t know, I have had Crohn’s Disease my entire life and with Crohn’s Disease when it is dormant you are healthy. But for me once every some odd years I tend to get a flare-up and things get a bit tough for me. Well that time seems to be now and I have not been feeling well for the past few days. I’m hoping it gets better soon but for my health, I need to take a step back and take a little off of my plate. So for right now, I will not be doing that article. Thank you for understanding!

Slate Outlook

Oh, baby! Today is a streaming day if I have ever seen one! We have three pitchers over a 7.0 rating and seven total over a 6.5 rating. Definitely a good day to stream, in fact, it is so good that we will be picking two pitchers for today. Stream away friends and bask in the glory!

Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)

As mentioned above we will be going with two options today! Number one is Kyle Bradish who takes on the Chicago Cubs. Bradish has shown his ability to create strikeouts and he also holds a 12.9 SwStr% in his last three starts. The Cubs in their last seven games have been below average in SwStr%, zone contact rate, and line-drive rate. Plus he is home.

Our second streamer for today is Edward Cabrera. Cabrera looked stellar against the Rockies in Colorado as his breaking ball was on fire. He had immense potential last season and still does this season, especially with that organization.

Deep League Streamer (Under 15% rostered)

Both of our streamers work here but I want to give a shoutout to Graham Ashcraft. I think Ashcraft can be a decent pitcher as he has a knack for getting called strikes. He takes on the Arizona Diamondbacks who have a below-average wRC+ in the last seven days.

Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)

If you are in a shallow league and Jeffrey Springs is available he is your pick. I would grab him and hold on as well. In his last three starts, he has a 23.4 K-BB%, 3.02 SIERA, and 16.7 SwStr%. All of those numbers are super impressive. And although he takes on a tough Cardinals bunch his skill-set should be able to overcome that.

Future Picks

Wednesday 6/8: Mike Minor vs ARI

Thursday 6/9: Bruce Zimmermann @ KCR

Friday 6/10: Tyler Wells @ KCR

Saturday 6/11: Dean Kremer @ KCR

Sunday 6/12: Kyle Bradish @ KCR
