Slate Outlook
Happy Sunday everyone! Almost another week of baseball is gone but we still have a long way to go! In today’s slate, we have 13 starting pitchers as options. We have a red-hot Yusei Kikuchi on today’s slate as well as Wade Miley who just had a dominant performance against the Pirates. It’s a tough day but a lot of streams are needed on Sunday’s for head-to-head leagues so let’s dive in!
Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)
Our pick for today is Mr. Wade Miley. As we said in the introduction he dominated the Pirates in his last out. I know, that’s not entirely impressive but he takes on the Diamondbacks now who aren’t exactly that great offensively either. They have been better lately but against left-handed pitchers like Miley, they are in the bottom two in the league in terms of wRC+.
If Miley is not available things get a bit rough but I would take a shot with Alex Faedo. He has an okay matchup against the Guardian but what’s sneaky here is the strikeout upside. Faedo has a decent 12.8 SwStr% and sometimes the Guardians offense decides not to show up. Worst case, if he gets blown up at least some strikeouts could be there.

Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)
The obvious pick of the day is Yusei Kikuchi. He has been on fire in his last three starts pitching 17.1 innings to the tune of a 1.56 ERA, 20.3 K-BB%, and 12.8 SwStr%. He takes on the Reds at home which will definitely help him plus the Reds get killed against left-handed pitching. On the year they have one of the highest strikeout rates when facing them as well as one of the lowest wRC+ in the league.
