Slate Outlook

We have a few solid matchup plays for today but none of the pitchers are too exciting. I will say if you need strikeouts today could be a good streaming day if you take a shot with Chad Kuhl, Jameson Taillon, Aaron Civale, or Brady Singer. As for ratios though, I think I would wait for another day. Also, this slate is a bit top-heavy!

Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)

Adrian Houser has been relatively good this season. He boasts a 3.42 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 19.8% strikeout rate. The good thing is all of his underlying numbers show it’s for real so this level of performance could easily continue. He takes on the Reds in Cincinnati and I am slightly scared because of how they destroyed Brandon Woodruff. But overall the Red offense is not that good and maybe Houser can tame them.

Deep League Streamer (Under 15% rostered)

Another viable option is Nick Martinez as he takes on the Cubs at home. Nick Martinez is more of a higher floor play because he shouldn’t get blown up and the Cubs have been dreadful as of late.

Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)

If I am in a shallow league I would take a shot on Chad Kuhl. He has consistently pitched well and in his last three starts, he holds a 12.1 SwStr% and 3.85 SIERA. His start is obviously not in Coors but instead in San Francisco, a park where pitchers thrive. He seems like a solid play.
