Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and I truly hope all of your fantasy baseball teams did well. I do want to bring up how you should feel if your team is struggling. We are not even one month through the season yet and there are plenty of games left. I think you, at this point, need to still trust your process and hold on to any struggling player you have. If you have faith in your process at least see it through. For instance, I like Enrique Hernandez and he has been anything but great, but I will continue to hold for a couple of more weeks before reassessing. Keep up the great work everyone!

Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)

I am surprising myself with this pick a little, it is Chris Paddack who has been playing well. In his last three starts, he has a 20% K-BB rate and a 2.85 SIERA. The fastball has surprisingly been working well for him and I do like his matchup. He takes on the Baltimore Orioles who have below-average numbers in zone contact and SwStr%. I think Paddack can put up a nice performance here.

After Paddack, there aren’t any good options, or at least none I would suggest. But if you must, I guess you can take a stab at Tyler Wells? Honestly don’t do this the rest of these options are just brutal.

Deep League Streamer (Under 15% rostered)

As I mentioned above I would just take a shot with Tyler Wells but I don’t think it’s really an option. Otherwise, you have Odorizzi against Seattle, Stripling against the red hot Yankees, and Daulton Jefferies against Tampa Bay. Pretty darn ugly.

Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)

Drew Rasmussen is somehow only 40% rostered and he is the clear-cut shallow league option as we have him pegged for an 8.7 rating! Rasmussen in his last three starts boasts a 21.1 K-BB% and 16.0 SwStr%. He is destined for a stellar start against the Oakland Athletics who have a 13.7 SwStr% in the last seven days.

Our backup shallow league option is none other than Steven Matz. Matz has been extremely unlucky this season so far and his 22.6 K-BB% and 2.12 SIERA in his last three starts prove it. Matz takes on a Royals offense that struggles to hit line drives and make contact in the zone, he should be pretty successful tonight.
