We finished our first month of streaming and it was an extremely successful month. Now I know this is likely due to the deadened ball but we were able to hop on a few pitchers who were breaking out and that helped us tremendously. Here are the final numbers and remember the record isn’t great because of all of the four-inning starts we kept experiencing.

ROS% IP ER H BB K ERA WHIP Record
50% 111.1 48 114 29 131 3.88 1.28 12-12
30% 123.2 37 104 34 131 2.69 1.12 15-11
15% 111.0 37 104 41 121 3.00 1.31 13-13

Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)

Now I know this is a risk since he is clearly on a pitch count but I think if he can cruise maybe he gets to five innings. I will even take four. Jordan Hicks gets the Diamondbacks at home and he could put up a bunch of strikeouts here. He is our streamer of the week and to be honest I thought he would be further along when I made this pick last Sunday but I am sticking with it! You got this Hicks!

Our backup option for today will be Nick Pivetta. He has had a horrendous start to the season but he looked better in his last start. Slow starter perhaps? Pivetta takes on Baltimore in this start and I feel like if he were to get going it would be now or never.

Deep League Streamer (Under 15% rostered)

See above for Nick Pivetta! If you need another option I would still take a shot with Mitch Keller. Talk about now or never. If he pitches well and keeps it in the zone I think Keller will get to be a good pitcher relatively soon. If he is all over the place again and walking hitters left and right, it’s finally time to bail. We will see what happens in this start with the Padres but it is still worth the risk.

Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)

See Jordan Hicks or Nick Pivetta!

This pick will be based on the NFBC Main Event (15-team league) and the pitcher must be under 15% rostered.

This week’s pick: Chad Kuhl @ ARI

Last week’s NFBC pick we went with Glenn Otto. We took a shot on him even though he was facing the Houston Astros and it worked out okay. He lasted 4.1 innings with two earned runs and five strikeouts.
