Josiah Gray baby! Gray looked dominant against the Arizona Diamondbacks as he pitched 5.1 innings with one earned run and eight strikeouts. He induced nine whiffs, six from the curveball, and 22 called strikes. Gray has a ton of strikeout potential, he does struggle with command at times but if you pick the right matchups he can really help you out this season.

Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)

Not the best streaming day for today! Our top pick here only has a 6.8 rating but maybe we get lucky! Daulton Jefferies takes on the Baltimore Orioles offense. An offense that has struggled in terms of wRC+, SwStr%, and Zone Contact%. The Athletics know how to get the most out of their pitcher and Jefferies should have a solid game plan to get through this start. Plus pitching at home helps. If you want to take a shot with strikeout upside I would look at Chris Paddack. He was able to get a bunch of whiffs with his fastball against the Dodgers and the Royals like to swing a lot. This could work out.

Deep League Streamer (Under 15% rostered)

Daulton Jefferies is your man. If you are looking for another potential starter in deep leagues you could take a chance on Daniel Lynch. He has never really pitched great but he comes with prospect pedigree and the Twins have a high SwStr%.

Shallow League Streamer (Under 50% rostered)

There are two shallow league options for you and one just edges out the other. MacKenzie Gore is your shallow league pick. Gore takes on the Reds who have a horrendous line drive rate and Gore should be able to take advantage. I think we see him fully break out in this start and grab a bunch of strikeouts. If Gore is taken I would also take Merrill Kelly over Jefferies if he is available. Kelly has a high floor and has pitched really well so far this season. Ride that increase in velocity!
