A Look Into The SPS Membership

Today’s Streamer (Under 30% rostered)
Nestor Cortes Jr. takes on the Baltimore Orioles and seems to be a great choice for today! His velocity has been up since last season and he has pitched well against tough competition. I really love what Cortes brings to the table when it comes to deception and changing the timing of his delivery. It’s a bit gimmicky but hey it works so who cares?
Right there with Cortes comes a pitcher who is making his starting debut this season, Aaron Ashby. Ashby has been a fan favorite this entire off-season. He showed strikeout capability in 2021 and is clearly being groomed to be the next great Brewers pitcher. He has a tough matchup against the Cardinals but I think he is worth a speculative start.
David Peterson actually isn’t a bad option as well. Peterson was impressive when he first got called up, he has a wicked slider and showed flashes of upside. He draws a matchup with the struggling Diamondbacks offense who only seem to hit in the eighth or ninth innings. Give Peterson a shot.
